Google now allows businesses to use AI to generate custom backgrounds for images in Google Posts within their Business Profiles. According to Victoria Kroll from Google, this feature in the Maps app helps create more engaging visuals for customer-facing posts.

This AI-generated background capability is similar to Google’s existing AI-powered image tools used in shopping ads, Product Studio, and other Business Profile features.
