UnderTwoK is a Reading-based retailer specialising in portable, solar-powered energy solutions for creative, off-grid, and everyday use, designed to help people live sustainably with no more than 2 kWh of electricity per day. They stock a curated range of trusted brands, including Bluetti and Jackery. With a strong community ethos, UnderTwoK also hosts events, workshops, and provides hands-on advice, helping customers find the right setup for everything from camping trips to music festivals and sustainable living projects.

The Goal

UnderTwoK needed a sleek, functional website to present its range of solar-powered battery solutions in a way that clearly highlights product differences and brand categories. The site had to support both e-commerce and their growing community presence, providing space for event updates, hands-on support, and lifestyle content. With interactive tools like a runtime calculator and dedicated landing pages for specific audiences, the platform delivers a tailored experience that educates and empowers users to explore off-grid living confidently.

Custom eCommerce Website

We built a bespoke e-commerce platform tailored to UnderTwoK’s unique product range – portable power stations designed for creative and off-grid lifestyles. The store is structured to allow users to shop by dedicated brands, making it easy to browse and compare across different ranges. The design focuses on clarity, ease of navigation, and a smooth purchasing experience, helping customers quickly find the right product for their needs.

Community-Driven Digital Hub

To reflect the brand’s strong connection to its local community and physical store, the website supports event promotion and in-store activities. It acts not only as a shopfront but also as a digital space that encourages customers to engage beyond the products.

Lifestyle Landing Pages for Targeted Audiences

We created dedicated landing pages that speak directly to different customer segments. For example, the musicians’ page highlights the benefits of portable power for touring or street performances, combining storytelling with product recommendations to build relevance and trust.

Interactive Runtime Calculator

To improve product understanding and confidence at the point of purchase, we developed a runtime calculator that lets users estimate how long each power station will run their specific devices. This interactive tool is both educational and practical, helping users find the right solution for their needs.

The Results

We successfully blended e-commerce functionality with a strong community presence.
